Rod seals are used to prevent fluid leakage from within the hydraulic cylinder to the outside. Leakage through the rod seal may reduce equipment performance. The Seals-Shop offers a wide range of hydraulic seals for both single-acting and double-acting systems. All of these seals have a specific profile design with an individual set of characteristics which need to meet the requirements of the application. Our rod seals are available as O-Ring energized Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) products and polyurethane (PU) U-Cups where the focus in the design is on low friction, compact form and simple installation.
