CLEARSY has developed a central supervision system for the RATP and the Paris subways, which makes it possible to concentrate the supervision (control and command) of the fire safety and fire detection systems in a Central Fire Safety Station (CFSS). This system is based on the use of off-the-shelf ECUs. It’s designed to interface with fire safety systems from different suppliers.

This type of system could be used in other industrial contexts where the locations to be monitored are remote from the control/command centers. The security technologies implemented in this project could also be adapted for other purposes than fire safety when the equipment being monitored is remote.
