Expresso® is a proven type of packaging for dry and frozen foods. It is a well-established concept based on a pre-glued carton with sealed membranes, bottom and top. This simple and flexible format can be designed in various shapes and sizes for packaging such as powders, cereals, teas, confectionery, frozen food and petfood.
The membranes of an Expresso provide powder-tight sealing. The pack is so tight that even liquids such as orange juice, soup or chopped spinach can be packed this way, prior to freezing. It tight seals also mean that it is possible to pack products like tea or icing sugar without over-wrap.
Expresso also offers flexibility in openings and re-closure features with different styles.
The Expresso machinery is capable of running many different sizes up to 4.5 litres with minimun downtime.
