Electric motor armature balancing

The AB Comfort balancing machine was conceived in close collaboration with electric motor manufacturers. The aim was to develop a manually operated machine, which is not only suitable for use under production conditions, but is also economic, cost effective and easy to operate.

The AB Comfort is specifically tailored to the needs of electric motor manufacturers. The horizontal, force measuring balancing machine is suitable for rotors weighing up to 5 kg and up to 310 mm long. Different drive and bearing possibilities are available to enable the operator to easily adjust the machine to the properties of the rotor to be balanced.

Once the rotor is supported in the machine, the operator merely has to start the automatic measuring run. The AB Comfort then automatically measures and determines the rotor unbalance, locks the displayed values and precisely rotates the rotor to the place where the correction has to be made.
