Designed on the bases of commercially available carts or carts specially developed by SERAPID, the double station carts can be adapted to die and press specifications. A prior study is used to define the efficient use of the two loading tables.
• die change time: 5 min
• die loading and unloading only requires a single trip from the storage area to the press
• the new die can be approached when the press is still running with the previous die
• safety mechanisms controlled by sensors for cart movements and extraction system operations
• hydraulic and electric power: there are no hindrances to its operation, the cart is separate and stand-alone
