ME90 encoder is an incremental encoder with internal counting circuitry. Thanks to its low current absorption, it may be powered by a back-up battery to keep on operation even in case of black-out.
These features and its low price make this unit a valid replacement of multiturn absolute encoder.
A standard large range of pulses per revolution is available. A special internal circuit allows the available pulses per revolution to be multiplied by 1,by 2 or by 4.
Following outputs are available:
- 6 decades (999999) in BCD code version;
- 24 bits (16777216) in binary or Gray version.
