Presentation

Chemically, clear mica is totally stable and inert to water, acids, alkalis, oils and solvents. Moreover, it is insensitive to atmospheric variations.

Electrically, clear mica has the following unique combination:

high dielectric strength with uniform dielectric stability
low power loss at high frequencies
excellent resistance to electrical discharge
microwave permeability

Thermally, clear mica is relatively flexible, and can be cut, die-cut and/or punched.
