Chip conveyor

Continuous transport and evacuation of short and broken chips, as they are produced when operating machine tools. The Chip Conveyor can be used in dry as well as in wet working processes.

Function:

The chips coming from the machine tool fall on the bottom of the chip trough passing through the feed area of the trough scraper. The chips are then seized on the bottom of the chip trough by scraper strips linked one to another on both sides by means of endless chains, and are finally conveyed to the throw-off edge.

Structure:

• Solid, lubricant-tight cooling chip trough made of steel plate
• Exchangeable scraper strips
• Bush conveyor chain with hardened swivel castors
• Helical gear motor ensuring the drive
• Safety slide clutch serving as overload fuse
• Drive and tension station in the throw-off zone
• Pitch angle of 0º - 60º
• Cooling lubricant purification using a slotted hole screen or a plug screen
