BIOPLAST 300 is a plasticizer-free thermoplastic material that contains natural potato starch and other biologically sourced polymers. BIOPLAST 300 has a biobased carbon share of >30% according to ASTM D6866. BIOPLAST 300 is suitable for blown-film extrusion applications, especially ultra-light weight films with a thickness of approx. 10 μm. Products made of BIOPLAST 300 are completely biodegradable and, depending on their thickness, compostable according to EN 13432.
