Antifouling is a paint that is applied to the hull of a boat, to the propellers, the keel and to all submerged elements, in order to protect them and prevent aquatic organisms (bacteria, unicellular algae, green algae, barnicles, sponges, marine worms, etc.) do not attach to them.
Without antifouling, aquatic organisms develop on the hull, causing:
• Reduced browsing speed.
