The main properties of Barytes include high specific gravity, low solubility and non-toxic nature. They are chemically and physically non-reactive and are having a nodular particle structure.

They are micronized from a high purity barite mineral source, originating with high brightness from selected reserves for applications in the paints and coating, pigments etc. where purity, fineness, high specific gravity, brightness, acoustic, good UV barrier properties, low heavy, metal content are important.

They are inert in acids as well as alkalis and extremely insoluble in water.
