The machine is designed for the assembly of connector terminals AK950/960, in both metric and imperial (inch) versions. The number of poles can be set from 2 to 24.
The individual soldering tags, terminal clamps and screw are fed to the machine by means of spiral bowl and inline feeders. The screws are separated and shot in. The housing is fed in by means of a centrifuge and inline feeder. Transport to the individual processing stations is by means of linear conveyor. Various tests are carried out during the assembly process. Satisfactory parts are transferred to two containers by means of a gate (packaging unit and order size can be individually set). A change of container has to be acknowledged. Nonconforming parts are discharged separately into three reject containers.
The machine is designed as an assembly robot and can be operated in normal production in both automatic program control and single step mode.
