The most wide spread size air cushion on the market is from now on available in low static version. It has an anti-static treatment, making these air cushions fitting with ESD (Electric Static Discharge) products. Like most plastics, polyethylene (PE) is an insulating material. In this film grade, an anti-static additive is added to the PE to prevent built-up of static electricity at the surface of the film. These air cushions are recognizable by their pink colour.
